    Default Tug Toy question

Somewhere on your site you have videos of Earl playing tug with a couple of shelter dogs. What kind of tug toys is he using? My Maxx is a big fellow, but has dental issues. Hard tug toys aren't good for him, and toys that are too soft don't work well, either. The ones in the video look just right. What are they made of, and where can I get some? Thanks!

It is either the fleece tugs found here: tugs

or something made of french linen and made for bite building of protection dogs. Such as here: http://www.fordogtrainers.com/index....x&cPath=86_318

    Default That's the one!

I think it was the fleece tug, but both look like good choices for Maxx. Thanks.

    Hello,

Both are very beneficial...but can be used for different things. The fleece tug is great for training a release command and mild play. But if you have constant tough tug games with max it will wear down and eventually rip. The French linen is more durable so if max likes to play tug and really get into it may be helpful to have both.
Here is a tug blog that goes into why tug is such a great and important game to play withour dogs.

    Good luck!

    Thanks Chris
