Default new puppy with adult dog behavior

hey mike its augie rosies the little white female bully pup's owner... i had put water down for her and my adult male after the played for awhile the puppy started drinking while the adult sat there and waited till she was done and then took his drink with no problems.... a little later i didn't realize there was a kong toy on the ground and the puppy was chewing on it while the luca (adult ab) just sat there until she was done with it, then he started too play with . at this point i might have jumped the gun and took it from him and put it away thinking if the puppy came back he might become aggressive which he showed no signs of but i guess i kinda didn't want something too happen because of past fears of our other dogs fighting. i guess i am just curious too think is my male becoming submissive cause he knows she is a puppy or can he just be a submissive dog ? also can i let them play with toys in a control enviroment or do you think thats taken a chance... thanks looking forward too your response and advice.

    Hey Augie,

Thanks for posting. I tend to stay away from letting the bully breeds play with toys together. To me it is not worth the chance when they can exert just as much energy playing with each other and not worry about competing over a possible possession. I think the concepts explained in this video should explain what is going on the scenarios you are describing. Sounds like they are both respecting the possession rule and not info to really know if anyone is in a dominant or submissive role:
