German Shepherds

I grew up with German Shepherds and would like to get another one someday down the road. The problem is that I haven't seen a nice one in ages. I know that a lot of people are going to Malinois now for that exact reason. Any thoughts/comments/referrals for or about good old-style real working GSDs?

I haven't ever dealt with them, but the bloodlines are awesome and they are breeding in this country.

I did have one client get their pup from here: www.kraftwerkk9.com (http://www.kraftwerkk9.com) and I LOVED it and he seemed to have a good experience dealing with the business.

Thanks, Mike! I like what I saw on the Kreative site. I probably shouldn't have started researching quite yet, because now I don't want to wait to get one. Lol. No, really, it gives me a great place to start looking.

I know...me and Earl were just fantasizing the other day about taking a trip out there. I would like to visit to see how dogs are housed, maintained, etc.

It's been ages since I've logged in!! I need to start visiting often again.

My good friend and mentor in the assistance dog world just got a job at managing the kennels at Kraftwerk! I'm still not ready for a GSD and likely won't be for a long while, but I just may have to go visit my friend anyway!
