Here we demo how to get started on teaching the dog to defend the handler against multiple attackers.  One of my favorite vids!

This exercise is good for guard dogs in training at almost every level.  It gets the dog used to understanding when it is definitely OK to be aggressive at the person entering the door.

"Fritz" and "Milo" work on a place command at the door to be in position to protect the owner.

The dogs must wait until the owner says it is a threat. Milo also practices a "switch" command to follow the weapon from one arm to the next.

This video shows Zephyr starting to cross over beyond just threatening the agitator. A good video and technique for working with dogs that have some taboo about biting a human.
