Phase 1 Obedience

This is an important leash handling lesson that should be watched first.  The "leash pumps" will be used to replace the "onion chops" that are taught in most of the phase 2 videos.

This is an updated leash manners video.  We will keep the older version up for educational purposes - but this newer way we found to be just as effective, easier, and less likley to cause pain or fear in the dog - therefore it is part of the new standard of the system.

This is an older way of teaching leash manners that I am going to move to an archive section soon.  PLEASE watch leash manners version 1.02 for updated version.  I am keeping this version up for educational/history reasons so you can see the difference in the update.

Newer version (1.02) is just as effective, easier, and with less chance for mistakes. 

This is our technique for puppy massage.  Puppy massage is a must to help a puppy grow into a dog that is more comfortable with manipulation.

This is a clip of a short training session with a 4 month old pitbull.  I am working on phasing off body language with the sit and down.

This video shows a demo of Mike playing a game with a high drive pitbull.  It shows how to communicate proper pack structure and remain in control of the game - even though the dog would normally be a lot to handle.

This video is best viewed after understanding the concepts in the "pack structure" and "restless spirit" section.  It is good to see these concepts in action.
